On the 5th floor of Signiel Busan Hotel, there are two dining venues: Chao Lan, a fine-dining Chinese restaurant, and The View, the hotel’s premium seafood buffet. Among the two, The View is particularly popular, attracting many guests even if they are not staying at the hotel. For this reason, it’s highly recommended to make a reservation in advance rather than attempting a walk-in visit. Personally, whenever I stay at Signiel Busan, I usually enjoy both breakfast and dinner at The View, so I always reserve my table ahead of time. After taking the elevator to the 5th floor, you walk toward The View’s entrance, where staff warmly greet you, confirm your reservation, and guide you to your table with attentive service.

The View is an exceptionally spacious and comfortable dining venue. For families with young children, the restaurant provides a dedicated nursing room, ensuring convenience for parents. There are also four private dining rooms (PDRs), each equipped with amenities such as hangers and other facilities, making it ideal for group gatherings. While breakfast at The View can be relatively pricey, guests staying at Signiel Busan can enjoy a more affordable rate by booking a breakfast package. Even if a breakfast package wasn’t reserved, you can request breakfast at check-in, and the front desk will offer the discounted rate available to hotel guests.

Once a staff member guides you to your seat, you’ll be offered a seasonal welcome drink—typically a health-focused herbal tea. The staff will also ask if you’d like coffee; you can request an iced Americano or another choice. After that, you can head to the buffet section to collect your food. By the time you return to your seat, your coffee will already be set up for you, making the experience extremely convenient. Compared to most other hotel breakfast venues, where you usually have to prepare your own coffee, this attentive service really makes you feel specially treated.

| Photos capturing The View’s ocean-view ambiance |
I have stayed at Signiel Busan Hotel multiple times, and whenever I have breakfast at The View, I’m almost always seated at a table with an ocean view. On one occasion, I was even assigned a seat that overlooked both the ocean and the garden terrace. At that time, the filming of the 2022 Korean movie Decibel was taking place, starring Kim Rae-won and Lee Jong-suk, with Cha Eun-woo (ASTRO’s member and sub-vocalist) in a special appearance. While enjoying my breakfast, I couldn’t help but wonder how the scenes we were witnessing would appear in the final movie.

The View is the ultimate spot in Busan to enjoy a buffet with stunning ocean views. As an international dining venue, it offers a comprehensive range of dishes—from appetizers and main courses to desserts—delivering one of the most extensive breakfast spreads among all hotels in Busan. Considering both the variety of the menu and the unique ambiance of the space, it’s absolutely worth experiencing. During the summer season, you can even enjoy seasonal grilled sea bass for breakfast, elevating the morning dining experience to a whole new level. With its impressive dessert selection as well, if you’re staying at Signiel Busan Hotel during peak summer, securing a breakfast reservation at The View is a must.
