Located inside the 3rd-floor lobby of Signiel Busan Hotel, The Lounge offers Haeundae’s premier ocean views and serves as both a sophisticated lounge & bar and a pastry salon (premium bakery & café). Guests can enjoy a full range of restaurant, café, dessert, and bar offerings, featuring carefully crafted signature dishes and artisanal pastries. At The Lounge, visitors can relax in an elegant, comfortable atmosphere while watching the sunset over the sea.
The 2022 South Korean film Decibel stars Kim Rae-won and Lee Jong-seok, with supporting roles by Jung Sang-hoon and Park Byung-eun, and a special appearance by Cha Eun-woo (member of the K-pop boy group ASTRO). The film’s premise revolves around bombs equipped with decibel-triggered sensors that detonate when a certain noise threshold is exceeded. A former naval commander, a journalist, and officers from the South Korean Defense Counterintelligence Command team up to prevent a series of urban bomb attacks. Signiel Busan Hotel serves as the key location where the film’s central events unfold.
In particular, during the climax of the film Decibel, the Navy officer (played by Kim Rae-won) and the reporter (played by Jung Sang-hoon) are seen chasing the culprit through the Signiel Busan Hotel lobby, with the camera capturing the intensity of their pursuit. Jung Sang-hoon even enters The Lounge, filming scenes that showcase the interior of the space in detail, giving viewers a clear sense of the lounge’s sophisticated atmosphere.

The Lounge: Real Customer Reviews
Dalmaji Hill, located at the eastern end of Haeundae Beach and adjacent to Mipo Port, is home to the LCT complex. The LCT property consists of two 85-story residential towers and a 101-story Landmark Tower. From the 3rd to the 19th floors of the Landmark Tower sits Signiel Busan, a five-star hotel featuring approximately 260 guestrooms.

When you enter the main entrance (revolving door) of Signiel Busan on the 3rd floor of the Landmark Tower within the LCT complex, you walk into the lobby where the concierge and front desk are located on the left. If you continue straight to the very back of the lobby, you’ll arrive at The Lounge. Staff stationed at the main entrance will collect your luggage, ask about the purpose of your visit, and escort you inside. Among hotels in the Busan area, the staff at Signiel Busan are known for providing the most attentive and refined service.
The Lounge offers Haeundae’s most sophisticated signature dishes and pastries. It is a place where you can enjoy a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere while taking in the sunset stretching across the ocean. Within Busan’s hotel scene, Signiel Busan’s F&B program stands out as the best.
Upon entering The Lounge, female staff dressed in neat black trousers and deep-blue shirts—symbolizing the Haeundae sea—greet you and guide you to the best available seat. With their hair neatly tied back, reminiscent of Korean Air cabin crew, they set the table based on the number of guests and present the menu as soon as you are seated.
During peak summer weekends, check-in at Signiel Busan can involve long waits. In such cases, it’s ideal to enjoy a mango shaved ice or a refreshing drink at The Lounge while waiting for your turn. Even when you’re relaxing with a drink, staff members who remember you will personally approach you when your check-in is ready, which is always a pleasant experience.

In the summer, sitting on the plush sofa chairs by the window at The Lounge lets you enjoy the cool air-conditioning while taking in a sweeping view of Haeundae Beach—the white sand, the waves, the crowds, Dongbaek Island, and even Gwangan Bridge in the distance. Relaxing in a comfortable seat while overlooking the beach feels incredibly refreshing, almost like your chest opens up with a sense of relief. A phalaenopsis orchid displayed on the table adds a touch of elegance, making the space feel even more special.
The ordering rules at The Lounge are simple: choose whatever you want, but order one item per person. Since there were three of us, we ordered one Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice, one lime mojito, and one single-shot espresso. The staff set the table neatly with napkins, bowls, and dessert spoons for each of us so we could share the Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice comfortably.

When the items you ordered are ready, the full service begins. The lime mojito was exceptionally refreshing, and the espresso—made from high-quality roasted beans—had a rich aroma and deep flavor. The lime mojito is served with a side of mixed nuts, while the espresso comes with a small piece of dessert bread so you can enjoy a sweet finish alongside the coffee.

The staff member who brought out the Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice kindly explained, step-by-step, how to enjoy it: divide the mango slices and mango sorbet into small portions, place them into the bowl, top them with cashew powder and mango ice cream, and mix everything together before eating. The service is exceptionally courteous.
Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice is a seasonal menu item available only from May through August, allowing guests to enjoy the true flavor of fresh, peak-season apple mangoes. In winter, the menu switches to Strawberry Shaved Ice. For reference, when Signiel Busan opened on June 17, 2020, The Lounge priced the Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice at 35,000 KRW. The price increased annually: 48,000 KRW in 2021, 78,000 KRW in 2022, then 80,000 KRW in 2023. Prices were frozen for 2024 and 2025 at 80,000 KRW. Because the price has remained unchanged for the past three years, it is highly likely that in summer 2026 the price will rise due to KRW-USD exchange rates and overall inflation.
If you are a non-staying guest, simply ask the staff for parking validation when they approach your table for payment. The Lounge offers up to three hours of complimentary parking. If you are an in-house guest who has already checked in, you can conveniently charge the bill to your room by providing your room number and signature. Everything will be settled at check-out at the front desk, where you will also receive a full folio and receipt.
Although Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice is expensive, Signiel Busan uses exceptionally high-quality Jeju apple mangoes, and the flavor fully justifies the price. It is outstanding—truly worth trying at least once in your life. You should also experience the impeccable, refined service provided by the most courteous luxury hotel staff in Busan. After all, every purchase is ultimately an experience.
